Suny Behar's career began in the theater, where he wrote
and directed several plays for the stage in Toronto
and Los Angeles. In 1997, he shifted his focus and enrolled
in UCLA's prestigious Masters Program in Film and Television,
earning himself an MFA in Directing and Cinematography.
From there, his work in the field of visual storytelling
has included a wide array of forms and formats over
the years. From working in Camera Layout on PIXAR's
animated feature "CARS", to shooting live
in-studio rock bands (Eve6, Saliva, Jimmy Eat World,
Hoobastank, etc...) for Digital Planet, to shooting
numerous short narrative films, feature films, and commercials,
Suny has been able to explore all sorts of capture mediums
ranging from Super8 film all the way through 35mm, and
from consumer DV, to all current formats of HD.
He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he continues
his work as a freelance director and cinematographer.

Stephen Beres currently serves as Chef Technical Officer
for PlasterCITY Digital Post (PCDP) of Hollywood, California,
an acknowledged leader and innovator in post-production
processes for feature films, commercials, music videos,
and non-fiction programming. As system architect for
PCDP’s nonlinear editing facility-designed around
Apple Final Cut Pro and central storage-Steve has been
a key player in developing the industry’s first
4Gb SAN solution, based on Apple Xsan technology. A
true breakthrough, this solution enables capture and
playback of multiple streams of uncompressed 4:4:4 10
Bit RGB material.
Previously, Steve earned distinction on television and
film projects for Sony Pictures Classics, Mandalay Entertainment,
Canada's YTV, Fox Sports, Comedy Central, The WB and
many others. Before joining PlasterCITY, he worked with
Apple Computer as a Final Cut Pro Trainer and Video
Systems Engineer. Steve's insights and experience have
made him a popular guest speaker at The National Association
of Broadcasters Convention (NAB), MacWorld and SMPTE.
